As Window Nation opens new showrooms in expanding markets, IT Director Oluseye Fadiran has been tasked with scaling the company’s IT capabilities. He turned to Microsoft and Enabling Technologies to help execute his vision and offers his guidance about Window Nation’s journey to Microsoft Azure.
When the IT team at Cascade Environmental noticed that bad actors were automating their attempts to compromise identities and data, they proactively took action. They realized that while their environment may be secure at a point in time, morphing attack vectors could make them vulnerable at any time.
Enabling Technologies worked with Gardner-Webb University to successfully overhaul policies and procedures with SharePoint as well as get them to rest easy with our Managed Services solutions. “Troubleshooting and crisis management occupied 80% of our support team’s time. Our former partner and many others claimed to know Skype for Business. What led us to Enabling is that Skype is a core capability, and they offer better options for support.”
We enabled PhishHunter at exactly the right time. Otherwise, we were going to have a potential catastrophe on our hands. In early 2018, I noted a much more realistic quality of phishing emails. The login pages that came after the click were also very realistic. If a user didn’t happen to notice the odd URL, there’d be no way they could resist logging in. We quickly made the decision to use PhishHunter to automatically disable compromised accounts.”
All the up-front effort is paying off with user satisfaction and business results. “Teams is really helpful on projects with stakeholders across the organization,” said Namvar. “It’s more efficient to have channels to organize conversations than a lot of emails. When we’re reviewing and making lots of changes on a file, not having to manage the replies and edits is helpful.”
Using Microsoft solutions in partnership with Enabling Technologies, the Aquarium provides secure access to information, Office 365, and collaboration tools. “Enabling has been very trustworthy,” said Tawiah. “We count on their counsel, and their ability to fill gaps for us.”
